Frequently asked questions
How is this different from an employee assistance program?
Recovery action plans are mandated and paid for by employers who want to invest in and retain valuable employees struggling with alcohol and substance use. EAP programs are voluntary and initiated by the employee.
Are recovery coaching sessions confidential?
Yes. Everything said in a recovery coaching session is confidential and protected by HIPAA. Employers receive confirmation of completion at the end of the program, but session notes are private.
Do you offer recovery support services?
Yes. We offer peer support groups and multiple pathways to recovery. Our team runs networking groups, CPR certification classes, Narcan training, faith-based programs, and recovery education classes.
Is there an aftercare program when employees complete their plan?
Yes. Our professional recovery coaches will continue to be there for your employees by phone and email to support ongoing recovery efforts. We also offer in-person recovery support services at 91 Central Street in Leominster.
Are fees refundable if my employee doesn't finish the program?
No. Program fees are due upfront and are non-refundable. Most employers mandate plan completion as a condition for continued employment. It's important to assess the employee's level of willingness before enrolling them in our program.
Is this covered by insurance?
No. Our plans are private pay only because insurance companies don't cover the full range of services we offer at Flynn Consulting.
