Hire Me on Upwork to Write Your Financial Content

Maintaining the flow of quality content for your RIA or financial planning blog may be the last thing on your mind right now. Personal safety, social disruption, and market volatility are immediate concerns. Writing isn’t. You need a freelancer for that. Not a content mill or marketing service. You want an authentic financial writer, an industry insider who understands your challenges and the needs of your clients.

My name is Kevin Flynn and I am the financial writer you’re looking for. Many of you already know me. I was the Head Sales Coach at Blueleaf Wealth for nearly a decade. You’ve spoken to me on the phone. I met you at LINC or Schwab Impact. We’ve watched the industry shift with new DOL rules and massive custodial mergers. Some of you have even played golf with me.

You have my phone number. Feel free to call. If you’d like to hire me to write articles and blog posts, visit Upwork. I set up a profile there a few years ago where you can view samples of my work and reviews from satisfied customers. You can create your own account there and use the payment protections to hire me on an hourly basis or fixed rate per article. To explore this further, click the Read More button below.

Why a Freelancer and Not a Content Service?

Financial advisors have a variety of options they can use for content generation and dissemination, but many of these “content distributors” are actually selling the same content to multiple firms. Sites like AdvisorStream and Lead Pilot have large databases of quality articles to share on social media, but none of it is actually your content. If you’re going to post articles on Linked In and Facebook, they should be original content that speaks in your voice. Only a professional writer can capture that for you.

Another drawback to third-party content is that it doesn’t build any SEO value for your website. In fact, if you post articles that other firms are publishing from the same source, you might actually hurt your search position. Google Panda, an update to the Google algorithm first implemented back in 2011, prohibits and penalizes websites from publishing duplicate content. Using it will ensure that the only new prospects you see will come from random Facebook traffic. Is that what you want?

I write customized, original financial articles and design online marketing programs for financial advisors. I’ve worked with Registered Investment Advisors, Financial Planners, and Fintech software providers. My content is extensively researched, fact-checked, and every piece is unique. The primary goal for me is to put your website on the front page of search results in your niche market and/or geographical area.
