Being a writer is not something that you do. It’s who you are. I knew it from the moment I first put pen to paper in my formative years. Some of the fondest memories I have from childhood are those of my Mom putting that “A” paper on the refrigerator. She didn’t know it at the time, but that simple act of maternal support would be the catalyst that launched this wonderful career as a professional writer which I have enjoyed for nearly three decades.
Writing is not a hobby for me. It’s my core identity. Throughout the years I have had many jobs, mostly in sales, but the designation of “writer” is what defines me. My wife Evelyn, pictured on this page, tells me that I am at my happiest when I suddenly leap from my recliner, driven by the inspiration of a new idea, and furiously type until I’m completely exhausted.
